The UGA Small Business Development Center proudly hosts the Small Farm Business Planning Section for young, beginning, small, and minority farmers. This comprehensive program will cover the basics of a successful small farm business, such as lessons learned from successful farms, balance sheets, income statements, family finance, budgeting, applying for financing, risk management, marketing, and technology. Participants will gain the essential knowledge they need to craft their farm business plan and receive a notebook with professional instruction and lunch. All this for just $75 per person.
